WHY:

Drive an Increase in Sales by Displaying Relevant Product Recommendations Unique to the Customer.

Our Solution:

Our team supplied the client’s digital marketing team with personalized content for over 20 million customers. We built an Alternating Least Squared model which utilizes customer sales data and real time microservices to deliver a real time Personalized Product Recommendation engine. The products and product images that our team recommended were unique to each customer and were featured live on the ecommerce site, email and display advertising. The recommendations were A/B tested by displaying the content to a randomized 50% of the customer base and compared to the 50% of the customer base which did not receive the personalized content.

Impact:

After A/B testing, it was found that our PPR Engine led to a $20,000,000 lift in incremental annual revenue for the client.
